About the Learning Center
The Learning Center consists of the Library and Learning Lab and serves all members of the MUHS teaching and learning community. The Learning Center supports the beliefs and core values of MUHS and ACSD, and the mission of International Baccalaureate “to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.”
The mission of the library is to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. The library offers diverse stories that are windows into others' experiences and mirrors to readers' own experiences. The library is a welcome and inviting community space with shared, accessible resources that serves teachers, staff and students.
The vision of the MUHS library is to evolve amidst the changing nature of scholarship to promote an understanding of universal access to shared information. Students will develop a lifelong love and appreciation of reading and literature, enjoy freedom of information, and have access to updated technology in a safe environment that supports personal and collaborative learning.
