Congratulations to Sarah Johnstone who received the Secondary Barbara Whittemore Staff of the Year Award. She was honored by Sean Farrell, who shared the tremendous impact Sarah has had over her years of service to the MUHS community, first as an athletic trainer where she represented MUHS as a member of the VPA Sports Medicine Advisory Committee and more recently as an administrative assistant where she brings persistence and willingness to go above and beyond every day to support students, colleagues and the community!

Ben Krahn received the Outstanding Secondary Teacher of the year. He was honored for his deep intellect, dry wit, and exceptionally engaging classroom instruction where he has been a driving force in bringing our MUHS Language & Literature curriculum to life. In class, he is known for the curiosity, humor, and genuine interest he shows while pushing students to become better writers and thinkers.
